It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mrs. Valérie Bitar Khalaf in Montreal at age 93.
She leaves in sorrow her son Georges Khalaf and her daughters Micheline (Dr François Nader), Jeanine (late Robert Ghaleb) and Suzanne (Georges Salloum).
She will be sadly missed by her grandkids Alex Ghaleb (Nour Charestan), Ralph Nader, Jessica Nader (Timothy Goddard ), Jennifer Salloum, Patrick Ghaleb, John Khalaf, Jeffrey Salloum and Léa Khalaf.
She cherished her great-great-grandchildren Mia, Robert, Sasha, Naya and Julian and she will also be missed by her extended family members, her cousins, her nieces, her nephews and her treasured friends in Canada, USA and Lebanon.
The family will receive your sympathies on Thursday May 4 from 5pm till 9pm at the Ùrgel Bourgie Funeral Complex located at 1255 Beaumont Ave, Mount-Royal.
The funerals will be held at Saint -Sauveur Cathedral located at 10025 l’Acadie Bd, Montreal on Friday May 5 from 1pm with the mass starting at 2pm.
The mass will be followed by the burial at the Urgel Bourgie Cemetery at 2500 Des Perrons Ave, Laval
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Saint-Sauveur Cathedral.
