Norman Charles
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Charles, loving husband of Alice, father of Cindy (Paolo), Gary (Razan), Corina, Tanya (Patrick), pre-deceased by Michael (Nancy.) Jido to Stephano, Daniella, Kayla, Kiana, Riley, Haylee, Jenna, Lauren, Jackson, Matteo, Lea, Pablo, Luke, great-grandfather to Alycia, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the age of 83 on March 31, 2023.
Survived by his sister, Lydia (Eddie), Tiffany, Justin, pre-deceased by his sister Denise (Adam), Amy, Tammy.
Norman led a full life with a constant flow of love that surrounded him daily - not only by family and friends, but by anyone who had the good fortune to know him. We always felt an abundance of pride hearing how wonderful and kind Norman was wherever we went. He was generous to a fault and never thought twice about picking up the tab for anyone he would meet at a restaurant. He always had a way of making people feel special.
He was a successful entrepreneur and was deeply respected in the music and apparel industries. There was nothing more important to Norman than family. We were blessed to have had Norman as our father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be missed by so many people, but none more than Alice, the greatest love of his life.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 5:00pm - 9:00 pm at Urgel Bourgie 1255 Beaumont Avenue, Montreal H3P 3J1.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 555 Jean Talon St. East, Montreal H2R 1T8.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence, 265 Andre-Brunet Kirkland, H9H 3R4.
