It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean-Guy Masse in palliative care at Ste-Agathe-des-Monts hospital surrounded by his wife, Céline Lincourt and his children Elisabeth and Alexandre, on January 16, 2023. of a brain glioblastoma.

Besides his wife and children, he is survived by his daughter-in-law Stéphanie Lafrance and his grandchildren Olivia and Raphaël as well as his brothers and sisters Marcel, Huguette, Raymond (Lorraine), Pierrette and Renée and the family. Lincourt Pierre (Johanne), Michel (Louise) and Guy (Francine). Many nephews, nieces and friends are also saddened by his passing.

Jean-Guy has always prioritized the happiness and well-being of his family. He left his mark on the memory of all who knew him. Everyone will remember his big heart, his strength and his resilience. He was an endearing and warm man with a unique sense of humor.

A graduate of Polytechnique Montréal and Stanford-California University, he has worked all his life in the field of finance with a particular interest in natural resources. His tenacity, integrity and honesty have made him one of the major players in mining financing in Quebec and Canada.

We would like to thank all the staff at Hôpital Sacré-Coeur as well as palliative care at Hôpital St-Agathe-des-Monts for their dedication and commitment.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos Funeral Complex at 1255 Beaumont Avenue, Mont-Royal H3P 0A1 on February 16 from 3PM to 5PM which will be followed by a celebration and a cocktail to celebrate the life of Jean-Guy .
