In Montreal, on June 26, 2006 at the age of 91 years, finally home with her Lord. Hilda was predeceased by her beloved husband Norman and his son Donald.

Survived by her children Patricia (Ed Hurdle), Alan (Linda Hurst), grandchildren Angela (Alain), Brenda (Nick), Cherie (Robert), Danielle and Gregory, great-grandmother of Amanda, Alex, Vicky, Denise and Katarina. Also survived by her sister Florence Clark.
