With the deepest sadness, we announce that Rafael Arapovic has passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and children, on 24th of November 2022, at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal.

Behind him, he left in tears the love of his life, his best friend, his wife Milka born Krilic, and his three
children: Miroslav (Gabriela), Ivana, Marina (Johnny). He was a loving grandfather to his six grandchildren: Rafaella, Anna-Maria, Anton, Luka, Ivan, Dominik. He will be greatly missed by his brothers Mijo in Australia and Simun in Croatia. His nieces, nephews, many close relatives and friends in Montreal, Croatia and across the world.

All his life, Rafael was loving, caring, peaceful, self-sacrificing, strong and tender, and especially honest person. He was devoted to his family and thought them Catholic, moral and human values.

The family will receive condolences at Complexe funéraire Urgent Bourgie (3955 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, Ville Saint-Laurent), Monday, 28th of November 2022, from 2 PM to 5 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 29th November 2022 at 10 AM at Saint- Nicholas Tavelic Church (4990 Place de la Savane, Montreal), followed by burial at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery in Montreal.
