On October 19th, 2022, our beloved mother Caterina Isaia Arcoraci passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born on February 17th,1940 in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, Sicily and moved to Montreal where she settled. She has been married for 66 years to Stefano Arcoraci and devoted her life to raising her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, being surrounded by her family, watching soap operas and shopping.

She leaves to mourn her husband Stefano, her three children: the late Melina (Rocco), Joe (Mary) & Lina (Rob). She will be missed by her 10 cherished grandchildren, Francesca (Rafael), Emilio, Stefano (Luci), Santino (Chiara), Daniele (Sabrina), Caterina (Marco), Luis, Giuliano, Simona & Ariana; as well as her 3 great grandchildren Emilia, Diego & Lara. She’s also survived by her sister, Venerina (Melo), sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos complex 1275 Dollard Ave in LaSalle on Tuesday October 25, 2022 from 1pm to 5pm and from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. The family will also be receiving condolences on Wednesday October 26, 2022 from 10:00am to Noon. Followed by a funeral service at Madre dei Cristiani Church (7935 rue Lefebvre, LaSalle, QC H8N 2A9) at 1:00pm
