Linda Kouri (née Thoun)
Peacefully, in her 101st year on November 29, 2007. Daughter of the late Abraham Thoun and Mary Saab.
Wife of the late Kalil A. Kouri, dear mother of Donald (Diane) Eileen and the late Kenneth (Carol), beloved grandmother to Greg (Jean-Marie), Andrew (Susan), Stephen (Jill) and Stephanie-Lynne (Kevin Leonard), great grandmother to Ava, Vanessa Eric, Adam, Megan, Alexandra, Caroline and Lauren.
Mrs Kouri was born in Sault Sainte-Marie and lived for many years in the Town of Mount-Royal. She was an exceptional daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be remembered for her caring and generosity towards family, friends and strangers. She was ahead of her time, helping her husband, Kalil, to establish Coronation foods in 1953.

The family will receive condolences at Mount-Royal United Church, 1800 Graham boul. Mount-Royal, Saturday December 1St 2007 at 10:30 a.m. and followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m.
