Georgia (nee Kaldis) Lyras
Passed away peacefully at West Island Palliative Care Residence on June 24, 2006. She fought pulmonary fibrosis courageously for 3 years and after a brief battle with cancer. She left us with a smile and her blessings. Aged 77, she is survived by her devoted husband Photios and her beloved children Tassy (Michael Vassilyadi), Steva (Steve Karaminas) and Julie (Spiro Tsoukalis) and her adoring grandchildren Fotis, Christal, Eva, Amanda, Nicholas, Christopher and Adoni.

Tuesday, June 27, 2006 from 2 to 5 pm and from 7 to 9 pm.
Funeral service will be held at Koimisis tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 7700 de l'Épée, Montréal, Wednesday, June 28 at 2 pm and followed by the burial at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made either to West Island Palliative Care Residence or the Canadian Cancer Society.
