Daniel William Doherty
It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Daniel William Doherty on Saturday, July 16th 2022 at the age of 62. Surrounded by his loving family, Danny passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife of 25 years, Donna Lynn Wilkinson, daughters Rachel & Katie (Tyler Wolfe) grand-dog Levi, mother (Maiju “Betty” Faber), sisters Donna (Dennis Moriatis) and Debra (Juan Cordero), his nieces (Maija, Zoe, Cynthia), nephew (James) all his Faber step-siblings and numerous friends. He was pre-deceased by his father, Russell Doherty and beloved family pet, Jazz.
Danny worked at Pratt and Whitney Canada for 40 years. He was an enthusiastic golfer, loving father, husband, son and brother. His renovation skills were in high demand by family and friends. Danny was always happy to help out others and lend a hand.
He loved to spend is summers in Vermont, enjoying a beer at the brewery after a round of golf or sitting by the pond or around a campfire with the very best of friends.
Deep gratitude to the caring, compassionate Oncology and Palliative Care team at Charles Lemoyne hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fondation Hôpital Charles Lemoyne.
As per his wishes, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
