Cristalia Madenoglou
It is with great sadness that we announce that Cristalia Vassilyadi (nee Madenoglou) peacefully passed away in the Lord on June 12, 2022, at the age 87. She was born to Anastasios and Katina Madenoglou Dec. 31, 1934, in Constantinople, Turkey and lived in Montreal since 1965.
She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her children Michael (Anastasia Lyras), Maria and Catherine, her grandchildren Fotis (Elaine Tsoukalas), Christal (Miles Bodie), and Adoni, her greatgrandchildren Eirini and Georgia Vassilyadi as well as her friends.
The viewing will be held from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 20th at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral, (2455 Cote-Ste-Catherine, Montreal), followed by the funeral service. After the burial at Notre-Dame-des Neiges cemetery (4601Cote-des-neiges Rd, Montreal) coffee will be served at the Church.
