Georges Bichara
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Georges Bichara on Thursday June 2, 2022 in Beaconsfield, Quebec.
He was the deeply loved and cherished husband to Patricia (nee Conley).
He will be forever missed by his children Andrea (Steve Knowles), Mike (Nathalie Belanger), and Robert (Laura Mullins).
Devoted grandfather to Ryan, Colin, Dylan, Emily, Alyssa, Lukas, Tristan and Hayden.
He will be deeply missed by his brothers Fouad (Nadia), Adel (Gisele), Chawky (France), Selim (the late Rachel), his brother-in-law David (Jen), his only sister Therese (the late Samir), his many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Georges was born in Alexandria, Egypt in 1946 to Henriette and Gabriel Bichara.
He immigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1967 and shortly after brought his family over to join him. He worked at many jobs to start and finally settled at Debro Metals Limited where he met his wife Patricia in 1968 and it was love at first sight for them both. They were married in 1970 and in 1973 were blessed with their first child Andrea, shortly after in 1974 Mike was born and in 1978 Robert to complete their family. Georges moved on to start his own company in 1977 Tribec Metals Limited which was “his baby” and through many years of hard work watched it grow into a successful business.
Through the years he formed many friendships both in business and in his personal life.
He was involved with the Dollard Soccer Association for many years first as a coach and then as a convenor.
He had a contagious smile and was happiest when he was working, travelling and when he was with his family. Patricia and Georges were fortunate enough to have travelled around the world together and again forming lasting friendships.
He has left many beautiful memories and his legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren.
He will be forever in our hearts and we will miss him always.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Montreal Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
