Frédéric Montreuil

Fréderic Montreuil (Fred/Freddy) 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8th in Saint-Eustache, Quebec after a long battle with kidney disease. He was the husband of the late Marion Morrison. They shared 54 years of marriage together.

Born and raised in Montreal, he was the only child of Mathilda Auld and Joseph Albert Montreuil. Fred was a proud Air Canada employee who worked in Stores in Dorval, QC and retired in 1996. Following his retirement, he moved to Charlo, NB where he lived for 14 years, travelled the world and moved back to Montreal in 2010 where he continued travelling. His cruises are what kept him going and he could talk for hours about that subject and never get tired.

He is survived by his children Larry (Jo-Ann) of Williamstown, Ontario and Debbie (Alain) of Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-lac, his partner Lise of Pointe-Calumet with who he spent the last 10 years with also travelling. His grandchildren Laura (Roland), John (Melanie), Vicky (Dominic), Penny (Remi), his (5) great grandchildren, Loganne, Caleb, Adeline, Elowyn, Madison, many cousins and friends.
