Claire Andrée Gelinas (« Nanny »), 77, passed peacefully in the presence of her family, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at St-Mary’s Hospital in Montréal, QC. Claire was born in Lachine to Camilla (Carreau) and Bernard Gelinas, and enjoyed a successful career in fashion as a manufacturer agent. She is survived by her two daughters, Nathalie (Jim) and Geneviève; her brothers Robert and Pierre (deceased)(Denise); her former husband Michel; her nephew Bernard Jr. her niece Andréanne (David) and nephew Alexandre (Jo); her grandchildren: Robyn, Ashley (Ben), Meaghan (Robby), Wyatt, Kylie (Djamel) and Hunter (Zachary); and her great-grandchildren, Dylan and Samuel. A celebration of her life will take place on her birthday of the present year, with the time and location to be determined. The family requests that those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
