It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Forte Di Girolamo on December 9th 2021 at the age of 80 in Montreal. She leaves in mourning her husband of 60 years Mario Di Girolamo and her children Michael (Anna Antonitti) and Angelo, and her dear grandchildren Sofia (Gevorg Karian) and Alessandro. She also leaves in mourning her brother Giovanni (Concetta Forte), her niece Franca, nephews Angelo, Domenic, Tony and their respective families, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Born in Minturno, Italy, Maria arrived in Montreal in 1961 and dedicated her life to family and work. Despite several health issues, she continued to express joy, love, hope and faith with others in her simple and humble ways.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, December 17th from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 10 pm and on Saturday, December 18th from 9 to 11 am at complexe funéraire Urgel Bourgie, 6700 Beaubien street East. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on December 18th at noon, at Our Lady of the Divine Love Parish, 765 Roland-Forget street, Laval, Québec, H7E 4C1.
