Ebong Udofia Essien, age 85, son of the late Chief Udofia Essien, died unexpectedly on November 26th, 2021. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden and untimely death. He was born on May 5th, 1936. He graduated from McGill University and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He pursued his university studies in Science, Parasitology and Zoology. He successfully accomplished research studies in the field of Parasitology. He devoted his professional career in scientific research and teaching.

Ebong will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Norma Veronica Thompson; children, Ekemini Essien, Gillian Essien, Edinyie Allison Essien; grandchildren, as well as his extended family members and an abundance of friends.
