Fortunato Mendicino
It is with great sadness that the family of Fortunato Mendicino announces his passing on September 4, 2021, at the age of 82.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years Giuseppina Mendicino, his children, Domenica (Armando), Maria (Andrew) and Bruno (Christina). He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his granddaughters Cassandra, Amanda, Erica and Marina, his grandsons Mathew and Tristan whom he loved deeply.
He is survived by his sisters Saveria, Maria, brother-in-law Antonio as well as his nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
We will remember him, miss him, and love him always.
May he rest in peace.
Visitation will be held at Urgel Bougie Funeral Complex (1275 Dollard, LaSalle H8N 2J1 on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 7pm to 9pm. A funeral service will be held at St. John Bosco Church (2510 Springland, Montreal H4E 2G5) on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 11am.
Due to government restrictions regarding Covid only 60 people in total can attend the funeral ceremony.
In lieu of flowers we ask to make donations to the Montreal Neurological Institute or Cedars Cancer Foundation.
