Nicola Santagata
It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Nicola Santagata on May 31, 2021 at the age of 93. He leaves us to rejoin his beloved wife, Lidia Pepe.
He will be deeply missed by his children Antonietta (late Antonio), Raffaele, Giuseppina (Gerardo), his cherished grandchildren Diana (Marc), Alessandro (Maria), Nadia (Félix), Nicolas (Claudia), Daniel (Natasha), David (Josie), Sabrina (Salvatore) as well as by his 10 great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his brother Michele (Incoronata), his sister Immacolata (late Pietro), sister-in-law Carmela (late brother Bartolomeo) and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
The family thanks the medical team in the Palliative Care Unit at Santa Cabrini Hospital for their care and devotion during his last months.
Visitation will be held at Urgel Bourgie, 6700 Beaubien East, on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. COVID-19 restrictions will be in place. The funeral service will follow in the Chapel and can be viewed virtually as of 2:00 pm.
