Panagiotis Stamatiou
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Panagiotis Stamatiou, on April 27, 2021, beloved husband of Sofia Miha.
Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his children, Yiota and Tasso, Perry and Debbie, Dino and Georgia, his grandchildren, Steven, Sofia and Zoe, his relatives and friends.
Panagiotis was a man of immense courage and determination and a great friend to all who crossed his path. A devoted husband, a loving father and a proud pappou – he will be profoundly missed.
The family would also like to extend their gratitude to the hospital staff, nurses and doctors at the Montreal General Hospital for their compassion and their dedication to Panagiotis’ care.
Unfortunately in light of the pandemic, the viewing at Urgel Bourgie, 1255 Beaumont, and funeral celebration at Saint George Cathedral, 2455 Côte Ste-Catherine, will be private and limited to 25 guests.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Saint George Cathedral, or a charity of your choice, in his name.
The loss is immeasurable but so is the love left behind.
May his memory be eternal.
