Rosina Mirabelli (née Orsini)
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rosina Mirabelli (Orsini) surrounded by her family on April 27, 2021 at The Royal Victoria hospital.
Rosina was a devoted and loving mother to Fedele (Gabriella Danesi) and Anna (Christian Daigneault) and a very proud grandmother to her beloved Nicolas. She also leaves to mourn her sisters Francesca (Vescio), Elena (Carlo Raso), her brother Antonio (Orsini) as well as her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in Italy. Her memory will be cherished by her nephew Franco Ursini (Maria Cortese) who was like a son to her. She will be sorely missed by her many nieces and nephews in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Lamezia Terme, Italy.
She will be remembered by the neighbours and passers-by for whom she always had a friendly smile and a heartfelt greeting albeit the language barrier.
The family would like to thank her devoted caregivers Elizabeth and Sanet. Sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and support personnel in Palliative Care at the RVH. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Due to COVID restrictions there will be a private funeral on Monday, May 3rd, 2021. For those who wish to say a final farewell, the funeral procession will be stopping in front of her home (6356 Beaulieu Street in Ville Emard) at 1:30 pm for a few minutes. Social distancing rules must however be respected.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Cedars Cancer Foundation or the Palliative Care unit at the Royal Victoria hospital.
