It is with profound sadness we announce that on March 28th, 2021, at the tender age of 73, our cherished mother Maria Weerts joined her beloved parents Mathys and Gertruda and grandson Nicholas in heaven.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Clinton Thorne, her beautiful children Sandra, Sydney (Helene), Stephanie (Mike) as well as by her nine cherished grandchildren Anthony, Patrick, Alesha, Andrew, Trisha, Jasmyne, Dalia, Gabriel and Jacob and three great grandchildren Kingston, Elyse and Alijah.
She also leaves behind her siblings Trudy (Jean), Madeleine and Michael (Monique)as well as many relatives and friends.

She marked the lives of her whole family, who will cherish the wonderful memories and moments, as they remain in hearts and minds forever.

Due to the present circumstances, we are only allowed to have a small ceremony for her.
