Seta Sahakian (née Karagozian)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother and Grandmother Mrs. Seta Karagozian Sahakian. She passed away on March 15, 2021 at the age of 82.
She leaves to rejoin her husband Norair Sahakian.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her children Silva (Stephan
Kouyoumdjian), Rita (Haig Apanian) and George (Eloisa Venegas). Seta loved and adored her eight grandchildren Alanna, Christopher, Andrew, Ashley, Alexander, Michael, Nicholas, and Chelsey.
Seta leaves behind to mourn; her siblings Sarkis Achekian (Marie) and family and Jack Kahdian (Zahik) and family, her in-laws George and Ani Sahakian and Sona Sahakian, nieces and nephews, other family and friends .
Due to government restrictions, the viewing will be private, on Friday March 19, 2021 from 9 to 11am at Urgel Bourgie (3955 Côte-de-Liesse St- Laurent H4N 2N6). Followed by a private funeral service at 11h30am at Sourp Hagop Armenian Church, 3401 rue Olivar-Asselin, Montreal H4J 1L5, then heading directly to Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal.
Flowers are accepted at Urgel Bourgie by 4pm Thursday March 18, 2021 or at Sourp Hagop Armenian Church.
Donations to Sourp Hagop Armenian Church or the Canadian Cancer Society can be made in her memory.
