Antanas "Tony" Racinskas
Antanas "Tony" Racinskas. 1925-2021 Passed away peacefully on March 13th, 2021 at LaSalle hospital, age 95 years. Husband of his predeceased wife Claudette Poirier of Cornwall, Ontario.
He is survived by his daughter Monic (Jacquelin Melançon) and son Raymond (Marie-Christine Monnier). Is survived by his 3 grandchildren; Marie (Thiago), Alexandre and Katia and 2 great grandchildren: James and Emily. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews, family and friends. Born in Lithuania, he was the son of late Mykolas Racinskas and Marcele Padvaiskas. Predeceased by his 3 brothers; Jonas (Eleonara), Leonas, Petras (Emilija) and one sister Anele (Juozas) in Lithuania.
Visiting hours by invitation only, will be held on Saturday, March 27th from 2-5 pm, funeral service at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Urgel Bourgie complex in LaSalle, due to Covid restrictions. Ashes will be held in the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to FoodBanksCanada Covid response would be appreciated.
