Gilles Deguire
It is with great sorrow that we must announce the passing of Gilles Deguire on February 6th, 2021, following complications resulting from a stroke.
He is survived and mourned by his wife Dana (née Evans), his sons Jonathan (Christine St-Amour) and Justin (Brittany Maloney), his grand-daughters Abigaëlle and Olivia, his sister Madeleine (Jean-Luc Paradis), as well as numerous friends and family members.
A memorial ceremony will be held this Spring at the Urgel Bourgie funeral complex in Ville Saint-Laurent (3955 Côte-de-Liesse). Due to the limitations imposed by the pandemic, and in the hopes of fulfilling his wish to celebrate his life with the people he loved, we do not have a precise date at the moment. The family will pass on this information as soon as possible.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to either the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
A family and friends gathering will be happening at a future date at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Home on 3955 Côte-de-Liesse.
