Georges Raphael Thérèse Ghazal (née Chami)
Georges Raphael Chami passed away peacefully, on Saturday December 19, 2020 in Montreal, at 96 years old. He was the beloved husband of Thérèse Ghazal for more than 67 years.
Devoted father of Jean-Raphael (Doris Dimitri, and grand-children Stéphane and Karine), Jocelyne (Christian Poulin, and predeceased grand-son Philippe Raphael) and Jean-Claude (Chantale Bouchard, and grand-daughter Gabrielle).
Georges was born in Egypt and lived in Chad then came to Canada. He assumed the role of Honorary Consul of Chad in Canada for several years.
Georges will be missed by all those who knew and loved him including family in Canada and abroad in France, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Gabon and United States.
He was considered as a father for several of them. May God have his soul, Pray for him.
