Georgia Petrolekas (née Spiropoulos)
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Georgia Spiropoulos Petrolekas on December 13th 2020, at the age of 75 years.
Beloved wife of the late Peter Petrolekas (Lekas), cherished mother of Marina (George Gassios) and Christina (Peter Kachulis) and adored by her granddaughters, Katie and Zoe.
She will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law (Helen, Evodokia, Theodora) and brothers-in-law (Nick and Louis), many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Georgia was a kind, docile, loving spirit devoted to her relatives and friends. She was very close to her cousins, the late Georgia Bousioutis and Dimitra Katerelos-who were more like sisters to her. She has touched the lives of so many with her unconditional love, generosity and kindness. She will be forever missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Quebec.
Due to Covid restrictions- visitation is limited to 25 persons at a time; visitation will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Urgel Bourgie-Beaumont from 2-4pm, and 6-8pm.
The Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11:00am at St. George’s Cathederal by invitation only due to Covid restrictions. Interment to follow at Mount Royal Cemetery.
