Vincent Bona
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Vincent Bona on November 10th, 2020 at the McGill University Health Center at the age of 68. Predeceased by his parents Antonio Bona and Giuseppina Sciascia.
Married 47 years, Vince leaves to mourn the love of his life, his best friend and lifelong golf partner, Joanne Sampson. Vince was a loving and dedicated father to Lianne (Jonathon Calderone) and Kelly Ann (Ray Morency). Grandpa Vince will be sincerely remembered and deeply missed by his cherished grandchildren Jaxon, Kendall, Kai, and Liam. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten by his brother Agostino and his nieces and nephews, Josie, Mary, Tony, Jennifer, Michael and Julie, as well as his closest cousin Pino Asaro (Vicki) and extended family and friends, near and far.
Vince was born in Canicattì, Sicily on November 16th, 1951 and came to Canada in 1957. He built a successful career as an institutional trader for over 40 years. He will be forever remembered for his boundless sense of humour, both at home and in the workplace.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, November 17th, 2020 from 10am to 12pm, and 2pm to 4pm at the Urgel Bourgie Feron funeral complex (1275, av. Dollard, LaSalle H8N 2J1). Due to pandemic restrictions, a private (invitation only) funeral service will be held at 6pm in the chapel of the complex the same day.
