Catherine "Ketty" Condax
It is with great sadness to announce that our cherished Mother, Catherine Condax, a.k.a. Ketty, (nee Ekaterini Vergiades) peacefully passed away at home on October 10, 2020, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Born in Alexandria Egypt in 1929, mom was married 66 years to her beloved predeceased husband, Dem Condax. Our mother was passionate about cooking, sewing, movies, traveling and any activity that nurtured her loving relationship with her family.
She is survived by her children Mary (Soto), George (Effie), Anastasia (Nick), Elizabeth (Lorne); her grandchildren Dimitri (Olivia), Andreas (Theresia), Dimitri, Thanassi and Greg; and great-grandchildren Stefania and Sotiris, as well as extended family, step-grandchildren and friends.
On behalf of the family, we also would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to her devoted caregivers Inna, Brooklyn & Ginelle.
She will live in our hearts and recipes for eternity
Viewing and funeral service will be held at Jardins Urgel Bourgie located at 3955 chemin Cote-de-Liesse, VSL on Monday October 19, 2020 between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. Due to current Covid restrictions those wishing to participate in person are asked to contact the family.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family may send donations to the Greek Orthodox Church of West Island or to the Virgin Mary the Consolatory Orthodox Monastery in Brownsburg-Chatham.
