Clemente Gisondi
It is with great sadness that the family of Clemente Gisondi announces his passing after a brave battle with illness on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at the age of 89.
Predeceased by his wife of 61 years Italia Grasso and his daughter Clementina. He was a dedicated and selfless family man and will be forever missed by his loving children Eugenio (Nella), Roberto (Josy), Ennio, Tina (David), Silvio (Lorena), Umberto as well as his cherished grandchildren Clementino, Francesco, Matteo, Italia, Sofia, Lee, Adam and Rachel as well as his great grandchildren. He will also be greatly missed by his sister, sister-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and all who knew him.
The family would like to express their most sincere gratitude to the staff of the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital and the Montreal Heart Institute for their extraordinary care.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation.
Due to the current circumstances surrounding the pandemic, the family will pay tribute to him in an intimate setting on Wednesday Sept. 30 between 9am & 11am , immediately followed by a Service in the Chapel of the funeral home for family only. Anyone who would like to attend the Service virtually can click on the orange camera link « RITUAL RECORDING » on this obituary. Burial will follow at le Repos St-Francois d’Assise Cemetery.
