Denise Cerminaro (née Gariépy)
Peacefully, on Saturday July 11th, 2020, Denise Cerminaro (Gariépy) passed away at home, where she lived with her devoted husband of 48 years, Richard.
She was also cherished and surrounded by the love of her son, Nicholas, daughter-in-law, Marie, and grandchildren Mila and Philippe. She will be missed by her brother, Laurent, her mother, Jacqueline Gagné, as well as by many family members, friends and colleagues.
Denise was a determined woman with a zest for life. With her beautiful blue eyes and great smile, Denise was always there to help others. Met with the challenges of cancer for the past year, she continued to fully engage in all aspects of life with pride, perseverance, and grit. Of all the things that mattered to Denise, she was most passionate about and devoted to her family and friends, always putting them first.
When the situation allows (Covid), a memorial service will be held to honour Denise’s life. In the meantime, please feel free to share any wishes, memories or anecdotes in the “Add your memory” section below.
The family wishes to thank the incredible doctors and staff at the Honoré-Mercier Hospital in Saint-Hyacinthe, the CLSC des Patriotes – Saint-Bruno, and at the CHUM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Denise’s memory may be made to one of the following foundations:
