On June 10, 2020 at 9:15, Alphonse Duquette left this earth after having lived on it for 100 yrs.He was loved by all of us as a brother, father, uncle, grandfather and friend. We will miss his presence dearly - his easy laughter, his abundant story telling (he saw and did so much in 100 years!), and his never ending curiosity about how things worked. He was indeed a good man, always a gentleman and, at times, a tender soul. In his last days he laughed, reminisced about family gatherings and was happy to have gotten the chance to talk with some who visited and to Skype with those who couldn’t. He passed away peacefully in his sleep, knowing the laughter and love he gave over a well lived life was returned to him a thousand fold.
