Angelina Ciolla (née Di Lonardo)
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Angelina Di Lonardo Ciolla on May 11th, 2020.
Dearest spouse of the late Raffaele Ciolla and cherished mother to Maria Antonietta (Sherman), Joe (Franca), Giovanna (Claudio) and Ronnie.
Adored grandmother to Giulia, Marco, Stefano and Andrea.
She will be deeply missed as well by her brothers Mario and Mattia along with many other relatives and friends she made throughout her last remaining years at the residence.
Even though COVID-19 took her away from us, her vibrant personality and fond memories she left behind shines through us all. She didn’t let Parkinson’s get in the way of finding joy through her love of music and dance, which captivated the hearts of everyone. May you sing and dance your heart out in heaven to Domenico Modugno's classic hit "Volare" with your late loved ones.
Due to the present COVID-19 circumstances, the family will hold an intimate ceremony to honour her passing.
Your messages of sympathy can be translated in memorial donations to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada.
Special thanks to the staff who cared for her at CHSLD Residence Saint-Michel and Dr. Hercz at Santa Cabrini Hospital, whose compassion and care during her final days were greatly appreciated.
