Our dear friend, Andree, passed away peacefully at long-term care CHSLD - Dollard-des-Ormeaux, on April 20. Andree was predeceased (2006) by her dearly loved husband and best friend, Willy; her cherished niece, ‘Cookie’, sister Denise and her husband, Joe Modica. Although born in Canada, Andree was very proud of her Belgian heritage. Over the course of their marriage, she and Willy travelled frequently to Belgium to enjoy visits with her extended family. Andree was a determined and strong-willed woman which served her well when challenged with failing health. At the time of her death she had no relatives in Canada but is lovingly remembered by longtime friends Bert and Marcie Dercola of Markham ON and her devoted caregiver and friend, Kendall Munz.

Andree’s ashes will be interred in her husband’s gravesite at a later date when travel restrictions are lifted.
