It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis O’Dowd of Saint Bruno on April 16, 2020. Born August 22, 1945 in Sillery Qc. He was the son of the late Eleanore Belanger O’Dowd and Raymond O’Dowd. He was the incredible husband of 48 years to Grace Rundle O’Dowd and amazing father to Ryan (JoEve), Brendan (Marie-Pier), Allison (David). The best Grampa to Jacob, Mila, Gabi, Victoria, Eva, and Cruz. Brother to Ellen and Ann O’Dowd and Lawrence (deceased). Brother in law to Lynda & (Gene deceased) Supryka, Anne & John Fair. Uncle to Jeff & Jennifer Baker, Derek & Lisa Supryka and Stephen Richardson as well as many cousins. He leaves behind his dear friends Graham & Stephanie Pilon, Gerry & Flo Hickey, Dr. Suzanne Gagnon Lavoie, Michele & Norm Cherbaka as well as our amazing friends and neighbors in Saint Bruno. Your kindness through Dennis’ sickness will never be forgotten.

Dennis was always a natural comic and loved to make people laugh. He truly succeeded at that and has left an incredible hole in so many friends and family"s lives. Life without him will just not be the same.

Dennis your best buddy Bob is waiting for you with a Cognac in hand. Now you can go back to those 2 hour phone conversations together.

As there will be no funeral at Dennis’ request, a Celebration of Life will be at a later date when we can all be together. Date to be determined.
