Stanislaw Koszela
Stanislaw (Stanley) Koszela, born August 12, 1943 in Horyszow Poland to parents Kazimera and Stefan Koszela, died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday November 27, 2019 at the age of 76.
Stanislaw is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maria (Kusa) Koszela, his sons Chris (Fil), Jack (Brenda) and Robert (Peggy) grand daughters Erica, Ashley, Tanya, and Ria, and a great grandson Tommy.
Stanislaw came to Canada in May 1972 with his wife and two children. He made a great life for himself and his family. He began his career in construction and later found employment at the CHSLD Polonais Marie-Curie Sklodowska seniors’ resident home where he worked for 27 years until his retirement. He was a man who enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, picnics and rummaging in the forest for wild mushrooms gave him great pleasure. He also enjoyed cooking for his family. Stanislaw enjoyed nightly walks in the park, watching the local softball games and meeting with friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday December 4th, 2019 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church located at 2550 Gascon Ave Montreal, Qc H2K 2W6.
He will be laid to rest at Le Repos Saint-Francois d’Assise Cemetery.
