Luigi Mastroianni, beloved and devoted husband of 72 years to Maria (nee Picciano), passed away at age 95 in the early hours of November 13, 2019, peacefully and surrounded by the individuals he cherished most in the world – his family.

He was a dedicated and loyal father and father-in-law to his four children and their spouses Josie (Marino Discepola), Maria (Charles Chambers), Bruna (Pierre Lapointe) and son Dino (Jean Kanan). His absence will be deeply felt by the 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren who knew him as nonno and as the family patriarch. He emigrated in the 1950s from his hometown of Campochiaro, Italy, of which he remained extremely proud while building a new and successful life in Canada. His legacy is his family, his teachings have been passed on and his generosity will never be forgotten. The world is a better place having had him in it. Rest in peace honey, you will be missed every single day by all of us.
