Stavros Athanasoulias, loving husband to Kiriacoula Athanasoulias Stasinos of over 62 years.

Father to the late Constantine Athanasoulias (Barbara Papacostas), Kalliopi Athanasoulias (Frank Oliveri), Tasso Athanasoulias (Athena Xenos). Loving grandfather to Stephen (Stavros) Athanasoulias (Samie Ly), Tina Athanasoulias, Gabrielle Leclerc, Alexandre Leclerc, Nicolas Leclerc, Stavros Athanasoulias, Yanni Athanasoulias and great-grandfather to Artemis Athanasoulias.
Stavros passed away peacefully at the age of 87 due to a brief episode of pneumonia and a longer battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Originally from Spilia, Greece, Stavros came to Montreal in 1957. He married Kiriacoula and he returned as often as he could to Greece to see his beloved siblings.
He was known for his love of Greek music and as a wonderful, devoted father. He will be greatly missed and will forever be remembered by his family and many friends.
