Giovanna Cannata (née Gozzo)
Giovanna Gozzo passed away peacefully in Montreal on July 2nd 2019 at 69 years of age. She was a loving and devoted wife to Giuseppe Cannata.
In addition to her husband, she leaves behind to mourn her children Lino (Jackie) and Lara (Darcy), her grandchildren Gabriella and Thomas, her brother Emanuele (Lina), as well as many other family members and friends.
A special thanks to her care team; Dr I. Azuelos, Dr G. Tradounsky, Kathryn Riches and the compassionate nursing and support staff at Mount Sinai Hospital Palliative Care unit.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the Montreal Chest Institute Foundation (mcifoundation.ca) or to the Mount Sinai Hospital Palliative Care unit.
