Attilio Bonomo
Surrounded by his loving family, Attilio passed away peacefully on Saturday May 4th. Survived by Ida, his beloved wife of 59 years; their loving children, Giovanni (Diana) and Daniel; and cherished grandchildren Emily and Romi. He will also be dearly missed by his family (many relatives) and friends.
Attilio was an avid fan of music. He often entertained family and friends by singing traditional Italian songs and playing classical music on his violin and mandolin. He was involved and active in his church community for most of his adult life. He was a storyteller and had a witty sense of humour.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Complexe funéraire Saint-François d’Assise, 6700 Beaubien Est (east of Langelier), Montreal, H1M 3E3 on Wednesday, May 8, from 2PM to 5PM and 7PM to 10PM. A funeral service will be held May 9th at 11AM at the Italian United Church, 6980 Papineau (near Belanger), Montreal, H2E 2G5.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in Attilio’s memory would be appreciated.
