We are saddened to announce the death of Renata on July 2nd, 2018.
Renata was born in Slovenia. She immigrated to Canada and made it her home while loving her roots from both Slovenia and Argentina.

She was the daughter of Ivan Asic and Alojzija Delago, beloved wife of the late Mathias Kozina, cherished mother of Thomas (Denise), Irene (Peter), Andrew (Franca) and Katherine (Benoit), proud grandmother of Christine, Alexander, Anne-Marie, Philip, Stephanie, and Emilia and dear sister of Vital and Vera. She was blessed by many close friends both in Montreal and around the world.

Renata was a dynamic and caring person who enjoyed helping and being with others. She took daily steps to help make the world a better place. She volunteered extensively throughout her lifetime. As Coordinator of Volunteer Services at the Montreal Chest Hospital she helped countless individuals by enhancing the quality of life of long term care residents.

She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
