Doreen Marie Zakaib (née Shatilla)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Doreen (beloved wife of the late Albert Zakaib), after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is now joining her little son, Steven, in heaven. She will be lovingly missed and never forgotten by her children, Cheryl (late Michael Awada ) and Kenneth (Lorraine Gallant). "Doo" will be fondly remembered by her four grandchildren, Glenn (Sharon Burgy) and Kimberlee Awada (Marc Malouf) and Joanne and Derek Zakaib, as well as her three great-grandchildren, Ben, Rachel and Chloe. She will be missed by her sister, Violet Koussaya, her cousin, Evelyn Saab and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, June 13 from 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm at

and on Wednesday, June 14, at 9h at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 80 de Castelnau E. followed by funeral services at 10h thence to Mount Royal Cemetery.
