It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Ochiai at Sacre Coeur Hospital on October 1st at the age of 93. Born in Vancouver on January 2, 1924, only son of the late Shinzo Ochiai and Tsune Kitagawa. Predeceased by his sisters Kayou and Yukie and his only grandson Jason. He is survived by his loving wife Toyoko of 64 memorable years and sons Tom (Yvonne), Chris (Carole), daughter Arlene (Blair) and nephew Ron (Parveen). Proud grandfather of Robyn, Samantha, Megan and Melissa.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate that donations/"Koden" in Michael's memory be directed to the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre of Montreal (JCCCM) or The Montreal Japanese United Church.
