It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Innocenza (Enza) Valerio (nee Vitale) on Monday May 15th, 2017 with her family at her side. Loving wife of 56 years to the late Domenico Valerio, and proud mother of Anna, Maria (Mas), Nicola Robert (Melina), Rosa (Grant), Diane (Matteo) and Carla (Ramy). She was the very proud grandmother to Casey, Ryan, Russell, Alexander, John, Maria, James, Lara, Emma, Erika, Andrew and Gabriella. She is survived by her brother Giuseppe (Elvira), sister Anna (Vittorio), in-laws and family in Montreal, Italy and Switzerland. She was predeceased by her sister Vittoria. Enza was born on March 18th, 1931 in Palese, Italy. She immigrated to Montreal in 1959 with her husband, leaving behind her beloved family. With courage and hard-work she succeeded to do what she was most proud of, building a home and raising her children. She opened her home to her extended family and friends and spread her warmth, creating wonderful memories for all. She was passionate about her family, and passed onto her children compassion, loyalty and the joy of discovering new things.

Resting at Urgel Bourgie, 1255 avenue Beaumont, TMR,
on Thursday, May 18th from 2-5 pm and 7-10 pm.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 19th at 11:00 am at Notre Dame de la Consolata church at 1700 Jean-Talon est, Montreal, with final resting at Cimetière le Repos Saint- Francois d'Assise at 6893 rue Sherbrooke East.
