Ann Hunter (nee Skulski)
It is with sadness yet peace in our hearts that we announce the passing of Ann Hunter on the evening of February 25th at the age of 103, just a few weeks shy of her 104th birthday.
Ann is predeceased by her loving husband Jim Hunter and her first daughter Eleanor Stroh (Jim). To live over one hundred years is to have left a beautiful legacy: Ann leaves behind three daughters, Joyce Hollingworth, Patricia Pittaro (late John) and Sandra Beckstead (Dale) along with 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Ann was a devoted mother and caregiver to all, a lover of life, a teller of jokes and made the best chicken soup, perogies and cabbage rolls you could ever have tasted. She will be missed but we know that she is where she is meant to be.
A heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the Bayview Residence in Pointe Claire that gave her such excellent care for the 3 ½ years that Ann lived there.
