Gérard Legault
It is with great sadness that the family of Gérard Legault announces that he died peacefully at home in Town of Mount Royal after a short illness April 20, 2007 at the age of 86.
Beloved companion to Zobeed Ali of more than 26 years. Loving father to Ronald, Robert, Roger, Linda and their mother Mary Quinn. Proud grandfather to Margo, Gerard, Aimee, Jonathan, Michael, Emily, Gary, and Kelsey.
His studies interrupted at a young age to help on the family farm, Gerry went on to work at Molson Brewery, served as a police officer in Verdun and as an MP during WWII, wrestled professionally as the Golden Terror and promoted wrestling at the State Exchange, until finally finding his true calling in real estate continuing to operate the Village Suisse in Val-David. A liturgy of the Word will be celebrated on Tuesday April 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the parlor.
