Raffaele Di Salvo
In Montreal, on January 26th 2016, Raffaele Di Salvo passed away surrounded by his loving family after a brief and courageous fight against cancer. He was a loving husband to Rosilde Di Salvo (née De Ciccio).
In addition to his dearly loved wife, he is survived by his children Silvana (Pasqualino), Rosalba (Rodrigo) and Roberto (Connie), his grandchildren Anna, Luca, Daniel, Gabriel, Leo and Damiano, and many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada and Italy.
Raffaele was a hard-working man, who brought his love of his land into his garden in Montreal. He was also a loving family man and his generous demeanor knew no limits. He will live on and flourish in his family’s heart.
The family will receive condolences at Complexe Funéraire Urgel Bourgie, 1255 Beaumont avenue, Mount-Royal, on Friday January 29th from 3 to 5 pm and from 7 to 10 pm, and on Saturday from 10 to 11 am.
Funeral services will be held at Notre-Dame de la Défense, at 6800 Henri-Julien Street, Montreal as of 12 noon. From there, the procession will go to Repos St-François d'Assise cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, you're invited to make a donation to the Raffaele Di Salvo fund for cancer research at the Jewish General.
