Kathleen Foy (née Young)
On August 24, 2015 in her 104th year, in St-Sauveur, Québec, Kathleen Foy (Kay) passed away.
She was the beloved wife of Tony Foy (deceased), cherished Mother of Linda (Nick Cernovitch), Alison (Gilles Vigneault), Bruce (Xarliane Rocha) and Peter (Martha Birtel), dear devoted Grumma of 13 and Great-Grandmother of 12. She will be profoundly missed by the whole family.
Former Children’s’ Librarian at the Town of Mount Royal Library and more recently at the Montreal Public Library, church organist, choir member, Raging Granny and devoted friend, Kathleen’s life was full and meaningful.
Her wonderful mind and generous heart touched many lives. We are grateful to have been blessed by her presence.
A memorial service and a celebration of her life will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 900 boul. Laird, in TMR on September 10th at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Mira Foundation would be greatly appreciated and acknowledged.
