Michel Pasquin

Suddenly, at his home in Outremont, Michel Pasquin, aged 85, husband of late Marie Brosseau, passed away May 27th 2014. He made his career in the field of finance from 1947 to his retirement in 1993, namely at Le Crédit Foncier and the Montreal Trust. He followed his father as Honorary Consul General of the Principality of Monaco from 1962 to 2002. He also was a very active member of La Société des Traducteurs de Montréal and its president from 1959 to 1964, and he presided the Dorval Historical Society from 1997 to 2002.

He leaves in sorrow his children François (Francine Tremblay), Sylvie (late Denis Frenette), Dominique (Ronald McKenzie), Guy, his grand-children Noé, Camille, Adèle, Maude and Antoine, two great-grand-children, his sister Suzanne (Claude Chevrette), his sisters-in-law Odette Brosseau and Michèle Gagnon, his brother-in-law Hubert Brosseau (Nicole Grothé) along with several nephews and nieces, relatives and very close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to La Fondation Institut de Gériatrie de Montréal would be appreciated.
