Nicholas Georgiadis
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nicholas Georgiadis. He left us peacefully at home on April 19th, 2013.
Nicholas immigrated to Canada in 1951 with hopes for a better life, and established Rex Travel Agency which still exists today under the name Voyages FunRex Alcyon. He was a man of great kindness, generosity, and humility, who helped thousands in the Greek community during his lifetime.
Nicholas will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 50 years, Yvonne Georgiadis, his daughter Chrysa (Stewart), his son Demetrios (Sylvana), and his grandchildren Nicholas, Thomas, Brianna, and Jenna.
He leaves behind many relatives and close friends in Montreal, Greece, and New York.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Heart Institute or the Canadian Cancer Society is appreciated.
