Marie St-Amour (née Ross)
With profound sadness we announce the passing of Marie St-Amour. Marie is survived by her beloved, adoring husband and best friend Denis St Amour. She is survived by her children Christiane St-Amour (Timothy Rivard) and James St-Amour (Theresa Miller), their beautiful children who were the lights of her life, Lillian, Samantha, Thomas, Jack and Katelyn, her mother Delphine Ross, her sisters Elizabeth Dunphy (John Dunphy), Jacqueline Ross Zalac (Danny Zalac), her brothers and sisters-in-law Donald and Kathy St-Amour, Terry Moxness and all of her nieces, nephews and extended family that she deeply loved. She was predeceased by her father Jack Ross and brother-in-law David St-Amour.
Marie was an accomplished woman and a creative force. Known as one of the top costume designers in Canada for the theatrical stage, she leaves a legacy of stewardship, integrity, kindness, generosity, morality and sheer inspiration. Marie was the backbone of her immediate and extended family, her love and support were endless. With her many talents Marie chose a life of serving her community, spending over 20 years each with Ballet Ouest and the Pregnancy Counseling Center (PCC).
Marie fought her brave battle with cancer with grace and dignity; her laugh was contagious, her strength inspiring and her outlook always positive and resilient. She will be missed but never forgotten. Her journey has brought her home to The Lord and in that knowledge we
