Lily Elias

Lily’s remarkable life was marked by love, resilience, generosity, and a deep devotion to her family and friends.

Born in Cairo, Lily later settled in Montreal, where she built a life filled with laughter, travel, friendships, and hard work.

She enjoyed a successful career and was loved and respected by her colleagues, many of whom became lifelong friends. Wherever she went, Lily had an extraordinary ability to connect with people and leave a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She embodied optimism and had a gift for striking up a conversation with anyone who crossed her path. We always admired her independence and her refusal to let life’s challenges define her, choosing instead to be guided by love, dedication, and her free spirit.

Lily’s warmth, kindness, and vibrant personality were cherished by all who knew her. She cared deeply for her family, loved ones, and friends, always offering her support, generosity, and unwavering affection. A passionate sports enthusiast, she especially loved tennis, was always ready for a new adventure, and delighted in sharing memories of her youth in Cairo.

While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the countless memories, laughter, and love she brought into our lives. She was a source of strength, comfort, and unconditional love for her family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to know her. Though her absence will be deeply felt, her legacy of kindness, resilience, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Lily was predeceased by her beloved sister, Mireille, whom she loved dearly and cared for with unwavering devotion. She is survived by her sister Laura, as well as her nieces and nephew, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, extended family, and countless friends who will forever cherish her memory.
